THE ART OF MICROBLADING | SEMI-PERMANENT EYEBROWS

WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a permanent makeup procedure performed on the eyebrows. A handheld microblade tool is used on the eyebrow to create beautiful and natural looking hair like strokes with pigment to mimic the appearance of real hair. It's the perfect procedure for those who have over-tweezed or those who want to define, darken or reshape their existing eyebrows.

The purpose of this procedure is to enhance the look of your natural brows. Unlike traditional tattooing, pigments are used with cosmetic tattooing rather than ink. This creates a more subtle and softer looking cosmetic enhancement. The pigments are designed to gently fade over time which is desired so that the Artist may make changes to the color or shape over the years.

Each client will need to come in for a minimum of 2 sessions. In the first session there is a consultation with the client in which they are profiled and the eyebrows are drawn on with pencil. Once the Artist and Client agree and finalize the eyebrow shape the microblading procedure will begin. Aftercare instructions are provided and client should be completely healed after 30 days.

The second session is your touch-up session which should be scheduled within 6-8 weeks of your first session. This allows enough time for the pigment in the epidermis to slough off, and the color to settle into your skin. In this session the Artist will analyze how your skin has received the pigment and make any necessary changes. Sometimes the undertone of the clients skin may have an unexpected effect on the pigments color and the Artist may need to adjust it. This is a normal process for any Microblading Artist and an essential part of the process. Everyone's skin is different and will receive the pigment differently.
